The Czech Republic is currently experiencing economic growth as well as a labor shortage. The Czech government is working on special legislation to make it easier for foreigners to obtain work visas. From builders to nurses, IT specialists to translators, everyone is needed here. Get the job of your dreams and get paid well for it. Prices in the Czech Republic are significantly lower than in the rest of Europe, and this applies to both everyday purchases and the purchase of apartments, utility bills, and so on. And literally everyone can afford to eat in a restaurant because the average bill in a restaurant is quite comparable to a shop check after buying food for dinner, so for those who do not like to cook, this is an excellent option.

A work permit in the Czech Republic is a document that allows a foreigner to legally work in the country. The permit specifies the company that entrusts the foreigner with the execution of work as well as the position or type of work that the foreigner is to perform. Only if the foreigner performs the work specified in the permit is the work considered legal. This means that if the foreigner wishes to change jobs (i.e., change employer, position, and/or industry), he must obtain a new permit. However, in some cases, the permit remains valid despite a change in the circumstances under which it was issued.

This work permit is used for a period of more than 90 days, usually 1-year renewable.

This work permit is also only issued by a government agency. The Labor Government issues a three-month work permit. This seasonal invitation is issued for a specific type of work that is legally defined. Each work permit includes the employee’s information.
